I spent my last days in South Africa in Kruger National Park. Kruger is north east in South Africa, on the border to Zimbabwe.

I went “touristic”, and bought a all inclusive trip, which was good since I did not do any research up front. The trip is all in all 4 days, but 2 of them you spend ¾ of it driving from and to Johannesburg We had 1 full day in Kruger 1 full day + 2 x ¼ days in a private Game Reserve next to Kruger. Private Game Reserve are private owned land which have wild animals, same as found in Kruger. We had a 4 amazing days there spite the fact that is was raining the day we were in Kruger (not very good for photos). We got to se 4 out of the “Big Five”, only one missing out was the leopard. But with only 225 leopards in the 250km long and 60km wide area, it is not easy to spot.

Im now in Rockingham Australia. A bit jet-lagged, and sick (I think I might be food poisoned)
The wind forecast for tomorrow locks really good, hopefully I´ll recover by then.

The nice ting about traveling as I do now is being able to plan along the way. I suppose it´s not in my nature to not to have a detailed plan from A to Z, but sometime is the first time for everything.
My original plan was waterproof except the fact that Indonesia and Tahiti is not very windy during May and June. My new route is Australia / Perth, Vietnam Ho Chi Minh, San Francisco, Norfolk (Cape Hattaras), Caribbean and Home. I´m really excited about Australia, it´s a country I always wanted to visit.

My last days in Cape Town has been good. I´ve moved in to Sheree´s and Grant´s surfhouse. It´s a big house were people have there own rooms, and share kitchen, living room and a big outdoor area. There is a lot of nice people living here, mostly Europeans. I´ve also met a very nice guy from San Francisco called, Raza. Him and I have been on a couple of local excursions, and yesterday we went up to Langebaan together. Reza took a kiteboardinglesson and I had a boost session with my 9m2. Not a very good session, but it was fun.

On Saturday I travel to Kruger National Park, for a 4 day safari. The next stop, Perth!
