The Nordic World Championships in Holmenkollen Oslo Norway 2011 are over. I`ve been lucky to be a apart of this event up close, taking pictures for skiforeningen.no. It has been a great event, and a good experience for me as a photographer. These are my pick outs:
Last weekend I shoot picture during the Ski jumping World Championships trails in Vikersund.
With a World record of 246,5 meter Friday and victory to Norwegian Johan Remen Evensen Saturday and second place Sunday, the atmosphere throughout the weekend was great. Here are some of my favourites, including a sideshow of Johan Remen Evensens 240 meter jump Saturday.
Oslo´s pride and joy, Holmekollen ski jumping hill is being rebuild for the 2011 Nordic Ski World Championship. Last week I was up there with NXC for a guided tour, and I took some pictures

Red Bull hosted a kite event at Haugastøl Norway this weekend, and I was there. What an event. On Friday 110 kiters competed in a endurance kite race, and Saturday a snowboard / ski cable track freestyle competition. Continue Reading →
After I got my new Hackintosh up and running, I have so much storage. I decided to add some of my older pictures to my Lightroom library. Running Snow Leopard, I´m also able to run Lightroom in 64 bits mode. I am not sure how much faster it is since I need more time with it, but rendering RAW images is quicker. Anyway, I found this picture from a trip to Haugastøl almost 3 years ago. I was windy, but bad weather, I was in the car almost the entire day. I was bored, and took this picture. I kind of like it.
After hocking up on Facebook almost a year ago, I finally managed to meet be old army college buddy, Anders. I had not seen Anders since we graduated 11 years ago, so I was pretty excited. Continue Reading →
190 days of leave, 4 continents, a lot kiting (and soar muscles) amazing places, a lot of new friends, some 7000 pictures, and rich on life; the party is over and I´m soon on my way back to Oslo, Norway. I´m really looking forward to get back home to see my friends and family.
This last week I´ve been working for my friend Hege and helping here out with Cabarete Summer Fest. During the event I´ll take pictures and write festival reports. Hege also want´s to display some my pictures at the festivals photo exhibition. Pretty cool! If they get sold, the money goes to www.wishspring.org
I took some pictures of Alex Soto, which will be competing during the festival. He is one of the local professional riders from Cabarete
I really enjoy traveling, but I have to admit that I miss my friends and family at home now and then. Today I had Jarsberg for breakfast, so I did at least get the taste of Norway. The wind forecast for the next 3 days looks really good. I´m heading down to the beach now for a morning session.
